Guess who else loved his gift from Grammy and Poppy? He loves is "Big Nate" book!

image

image

This is Aleks' really happy face! She loved this gift!

image

Gwen loved hers too, as much as Aleks loved hers.

image

Nate seemed more pleased with the cash than the book, but the book was perfect, I mean look at it!

image

OK, got him looking at the camera this time.

image

Jonny is happy all the time! They loved the Skittles by the way :)

image

Isabelle not looking her loveliest, lol.

image

She looks like an orphan:)

image

The girls went and got Aleks' birthday gift from sister Staker and wanted a picture of the three together.

image

We ate well again :) The bacon wrapped weenies were very yummy this year. Got Gwen reaching for a snack, she tried to retract, but wasn't fast enough :)

image

The kids were excited to play the new HedBanz game from Denise and Seth and the kids.

image

You strap a card to your head and ask questions of everyone to try to guess what your card is.

image

image

Gwen reads us the instructions and leads us off.

image

Let's see, Jonathan is Ketchup, Aleks is a light bulb, Gwen is an Igloo.

image

Christopher is a Lion, Nate was a jump rope and Isabelle was a ladder.

image

Isabelle was quite excited to play, I was helping her (a little too much, she didn't enjoy me taking over for her). Isabelle was the first to guess her card correctly.

We encountered an accident in north Stafford 15 minutes after we left our house which would delay us 90+ minutes are our trek to Grandma's and Grandpa's in Mickleton, NJ

image

Check out those meatballs! Mashed tators, corn, Broccoli... Yummmmm! Can you say "heavenly hash"? Ginger Ale and Martinellis too!

image

We were supposed to be there by 4pm but arrived at 5:30pm due to traffic. The Disney on Ice would start at 7pm so we didn't have much time to eat.

image

But eat we did and we enjoyed it. We arrived to the show a little late but what we saw was fantastic! Nate enjoying some Martinellis

image

Izzy just has Heavenly Hash.

image

Everything was decorated so beautifully. Grandpa slaved away in the kitchen for much of our visit. We ate very well, that's all I can say :)

image

First time eating in the dining room, very nice!

image

This is the only picture I took of the ice but had the canon for capturing video too

image

Isabelle was very focused on the show

image

Gwen and Aleks were one row in front of us

image

Christopher is still eating..

image

We had great box seats and the show was awesome. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great show and an awesome Christmas 2011!

image

Intermission time. Nice squinting Iz

image

Spending the night in the family room

image

The tree was beautiful by the way!

image

Breakfast included waffles with fruit and whipped cream, bacon, sausage and more Heavenly Hash for those of us who wanted it

image

Some people had soda for breakfast too... But most of us had OJ

image

Root beer and Sunkist orange soda for breakfast? I'll have OJ thank you very much!

image

Mom practicing her monkey moves, lol

image

Sue broke out some outdoor toys to play with so the kids could run off some bottled energy.

image

Pauly Wally was enjoying a mild morning out too. The sun did peek out prior to everyone going outside.

image

Jonny holding a hostage

image

Grandpa's technique on how to figure out what a gift is :) It didn't work... It was a BluRay DVD player :)
