0 Gregory Keith Baker - Baker Family Pictures

This video was provided compliments of Greg Jordan (his video camera) with special thanks to Tim Cheshire for the excellent film work (he can't be blamed for the grainy quality of the technology of that time). This video starts with my little brother Seth Taylor and Greg Jordan's little brother Brett Jordan at the El Toro High school parking lot. Then our home made title board that says "Sidewalk Surfers" and has a page for each of the 4 of us: Greg Jordan, Greg Baker, Tim Cheshire and Eric Wood. The we have some footage on Belquest Dr. in front of Tim Cheshire's home (and Greg Hammond across the street). Greg Jordan is doing hand stands, and then we're just doing free style stuff. Just after I do my little rolling wipe out in the street, Greg Jordan's mom comes cruising up in the wagon (looks like their station wagon anyway). Tim Cheshire was the camera man for most of this footage, he got some good close-up footage of Eric and then me doing the time appropriate "peace sign". The video looks like it hangs on Eric but that's the video ending before the music (California Dream'n - The Mamas and The Papas)

This clip starts with Eric Wood and Greg Jordan doing free style out in the road on Belquest Dr. in front of Tim Chesire's home. Then I though it would be fun to do a fly away on the grass, which lead to wipe outs and somersaults (this went on for much longer than what is in this video, it just started getting pretty silly, and embarrassing). Not sure what we were doing after that but the video quality really starts to go down the drain... Next we're at the El Toro High School rear parking lot, rear entrance near the track (notice there are no homes back there, the subdivision where my parents now live and have lived for 25+ years). We begin here with Greg Jordan, Eric and I skating down hill, Tim Cheshire again is filming (great job by the way). Afterwards the crowd gets bigger. Steve Shippy (red shirt) and my brother Chris Taylor (going down on his back) join us. Then we start doing some tandem stuff and pyramid stuff with Greg Jordan standing on the back of the tandem (and Steve doing his unforgettable chest beating honking noise). Tim (or Greg Jordan) captures some first person footage going down the hill). And we end with a big pyramid: me on the left, my brother Kevin Taylor next to me in the rear, my little brother Seth Taylor on Kevin's lap, Shawn Jordan (Greg's middle brother) next to Kevin, Greg Jordan on the far right and my brother Chris Taylor standing in the back.
